18.

1. Finding Nemo- Finding Nemo was extremely cute computer production that I will always consider one of my favorite movies. I love the sincere humor, and how creative they were with the underwater world.

2. Raiders of the Lost Ark- Raiders of the Lost Ark is a treasured classic movie with exciting adventure and bizarre made up history facts that draw in any one's interest.

3. Wall-E- Wall-E was another animated film I really was excited with watching in this class. I enjoyed how it kind of gave off the essence of the creators wanting people to do things to protect the earth.

4. The Dark Night- I really love movies made after comics so the dark night was definitely a treat to watch in class. I enjoyed the surprising evilness of the movie and how sadistic it secretly was.

5. The Bourne Identity- The Bourne Identity had an interesting plot and great action, if war-like movies are appealing to you.

6. The Italian Job- The Italian Job was a fantastic heist movie that gave off great suspense and had gnarly action scenes.

7. The Karate Kid- Karate Kid is a well recognized 80's movie that will be known for generations to come due to its genuine characters and heart-felt struggle.

8. The Spanish Prisoner- The Spanish Prisoner had an interesting and completely surprising plot, but overall the entire production was boring and dull and didn't catch much or any of my interest. It is not a movie I would enjoy seeing again.

9. Serendipity- I found Serendipity to be one of the most corny, predictable and completely boring films that I have ever seen. I consider it to have been the easiest way to have wasted time.

Films I didn't see; Rocky III, Iron Man, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Never Back Down.

16. Indiana Jones (10 out of 10)

Raiders of the Lost Ark follows Indiana Jones, an archaeologist, on yet another wild adventure around the world. in this adventure he must find, the holy grail, dating back to the most ancient of times and keep it from the the U.S. greatest enemy at the time, the German Nazi's.

I enjoy all of the Indiana Jones movies, excluding the newest one, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull released in 2008 due to my having not seen it. I could not get enough of the story line of Raiders of the Lost ark. I love history and the Idea of Word War two being involved with an ancient wonder in Egypt tying in with the proving existence of god to be fascinating. How ridiculous it was didn't even bother me, I found the far-fetch unrealistic ending to be extremely entertaining and the movie was so great it could almost be believable.

For being the first Indiana Jones movie, I truly believe it set a high bar. I didn’t even think the graphics were all that bad for the insane kind we have now in modern times. They did a very good job for the beginning of the 80’s. How they presented Indiana Jones at first got me by surprise, though. After seeing him as a professor I expected him to be just a dorky archaeologist. But my knowledge of the movie poster’s and just knowing of his world wide adventures refreshed my memories of him being a tough, rugged explorer. Anyone knew to seeing the movie would be entirely thrown off I suppose.

7. Alice in Wonderland (4 of 10) (make up review)

The new Alice Wonderland movie takes place in old England and surrounds the haunted life of a girl named Alice. she has haunting dreams that add on to her stress of being wed and leaving it all fr the moment she finds herself in a fantasy world that she once dreamt of.. only to find out her dreams might have been just as clear as reality.

I found Alice in Wonderland to be one of the worst movies that I have seen lately. The story line was based on the second part of the Alice in Wonderland two part series. No one would ever know that because the movie had the original title, Alice in Wonderland. It might as well been titled the actual name, Through the Looking Glass, but in the movie she didn't go back to Wonderland through the mirror, but through the hole she had gone through in the first part of the movie/book. Or they would have titled it, Alice Returns to Wonderland in order to give the audience an idea of what to expect.

I also found the characters trying to be too strange for the movie. I understand that Wonderland isn’t supposed to make sense but it wasn’t funny or entertaining at all, it just made me extremely frustrated. The only part I enjoyed out of the movie was the graphics, but I had seen better in the movie Avatar. They did an alright job of blending the generated people in with the real looking Alice. I guess it just wasn’t real enough looking for me.

14. Wall-E (9 of 10)

Wall-E is a Disney Pixar animation film that takes place in the late future, after the world has destroyed itself. It focuses on the good nature of an innocent robot and how he strives to make things right for the people who belong on earth, and for himself.

I enjoy Disney Pixar movies, and they never fail to disappoint me. Especially Wall-E which is now one of my favorites. I think its one of the cutest movies I have ever seen. The romance between Wall-E and Eve is so bizarre because they are robots, but that also makes it a little more adorable. I also really liked how the robots in the movie had personality, and it seemed like the robots were actually living rather than just being programmed to do things around the ship or on earth. It made the movie really funny, because some of the robots on the ship were malfunctioned or outdated and it made them act crazy!

I also thought how big the people in space got due to all the years spent there was hilarious, and practical in a very silly way. I figure this movie is just all around funny. But one thing I did not like about the movie was how short the movie was. I feel like the creators could have put more length into it, but then again I guess it was more appealing to children anyway. And children do not really have the attention span for movies that are too long.

13. Dark Knight vs. Iron Man

I favor the Dark Knight over iron man any day. I respect them both as characters, and its not like one has powers and one does not, or that one’s movie quality was better. I like the story line. The Dark knight has a million things that Iron Man does not, like real romance, tragedy, and in my opinion better action and a more demented villain. Also, the combat in Iron Man is all computer imagery. I like that for cartoon’s more than in movie’s when it is going on the whole time. It makes me feel like the movie is really cheesy, even if some people think it looks great. Also, the characters are just far better. The Joker is completely more evil than Obadiah Stane. All Obadiah did was copy the machine Tony stark made, while the Joker terrorized the whole city to try and make things harder for batman.

11. The Dark Night (10 out of 10)

The Dark Night is based on a newer version of Batman, who is given a great challenge trying to protect the district attorney of Gotham, Harvey Dent, from the impressive new villain, The Joker. The story deals with intense emotions of all the characters and how they are put through great tests to find if what they are doing is really right for Gotham City.

The sequel of the newer Batman Begins I found to be one of the most amazing movies I have ever seen. I enjoyed the older Batman movie series, but one thing I did not like was the actors who played batman constantly being changed. I love how Bruce Wayne is still Christian Bale. I find him to be a terrific actor in these movies and don't think he would ever disappoint me if a few more in this series came out. However, I was disappointed in finding out that Maggie Gyllenhaal was Rachel Dawes in The Dark Night, rather than Katie Holmes like in the first Batman Begins.

I also loved how in character Heath Ledger had become by playing The Joker. I find it a little scary how he had died right after they had finished hsi part in the movie. I always wondered if it because he had become so dark and morbid like the actual Joker that it made him sick with himself and if it drove him to his demise. But anyway, the Joker's chracter was amazing and hilarious to me. His humor was so dark it desered a little laugh. I am too anxious for the third.

10. The Bourne Identity (7 out of 10)

The Bourne Identity is a film about a special operative agent Jason Bourne, and how the CIA is tracking him down to arrest, or kill him. The trouble is, he has no idea why. How he suffers from amnesia is what makes this movie such a mind trip.

The films story line was not of much interest to me, I do not really care about anything really relating to the government or any war like movies. However, the movie did not cease to grab my attention due to its suspense. Throughout the movie, certain things are being revealed, but not in any sort of cheesy way. And I really liked how at the end of the movie, he remembered the heart felt reason as to why he did not go through with the assassination job he was assigned.

And of course, the movie did not miss out on the romance part which I thought it could do without. The romance between Jason Bourne and Marie, the girl who helped him on his journey, was probably put in the movie so women would be able to stand watching it with their meat-head significant others. They’d have to do somethings like that to balance out all the action that went on throughout the movie. I really liked that part, though. Its High speed chases and hand to hand combat got my attention the most. That’s the good stuff that turned out really well in this movie.
